Lawn Chair Kings II is the second full-length release. Out of the spooky basement practice space emerged a series of catchy ditties, including “Mama She Carried a Heavy Heavy Load”, “Back Again”, “Time Will Tell”, and “What Were Ya’ Doin’”. It was started with the help of guitarist, Steve Stokes, and completed with the help of lap-steel guitarist, Kelly Rogers. Steve Mendias laid down the beats and offered up some cool special effects. Dan Leek played bass, smashed bottles, and wrote and performed the hit, “Henryetta”. Erik Nordstrom is enjoying his new freedom with the CD completed. He intends to do more fishing.

Special guests include Dan Peha (banjo), Josh Peters (keyboard), Chris Ross (trumpet), and Rick Quinn (accordion). Dale X Allen did a spectacular job handling mixing duties down in sunny Austin, TX. Cris Burns mastered the project at Fire Mastering in Austin. The CD’s eye-catching design was completed by Rosie Carter. Lawn Chair Kings II has arrived just in time to save BBQ season!
